Osborne View
Restaurant, Lee-on-the-Solent
A large waterfront restaurant and bar on the coast road toward Hill Head, with panoramic views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The name comes from the sight line to Osborne House, Queen Victoria's summer residence on the island's north shore. The restaurant serves food from breakfast through to dinner, with a menu that leans toward modern British cooking. Sunday roasts draw a regular crowd, and booking is advisable at weekends throughout the year. The terrace seating is the main draw on warm evenings, when the view across to the island catches the late sun. There is a separate bar area for drinks without dining. Parking is available on site.
