One of the busiest dinghy sailing clubs on the south coast, positioned at the western end of the seafront with direct slipway access to the Solent. The club runs a full racing programme from March to November, covering handicap, class, and pursuit formats. RYA-accredited training courses are available for adults and juniors, from beginner level through to advanced racing technique. Visitors are welcome to sail as guests, and the club holds regular open days during the season. The clubhouse overlooks the water and provides a social space for members after racing. The stretch of Solent off Lee offers reliable wind and relatively sheltered conditions, making it a strong training ground for competitive sailors.
