The principal green open space in Lee-on-the-Solent, located off Privett Road. The recreation ground provides football pitches, a bowling green, tennis courts, and a well-equipped children's playground. A large flat grassed area serves for informal recreation, dog walking, and community events throughout the year. The annual Lee carnival and fireworks display both use the recreation ground as their main venue. Well maintained by Gosport Borough Council, the site is busy at weekends with junior football matches during the season and family groups in summer. There is free parking nearby. The recreation ground sits roughly ten minutes' walk from the seafront, making it a useful alternative destination for families with young children.
